Dear Joss,
With Dollhouse being "dropped" by Fox with a nudge and a wink, I'd like to respectfully request that you consider going to the SciFi... erm.. SyFy Channel and propose "Firefly: The Next Generation". Hey, it's better than "Firefly 2: Electric Boogaloo".
I know you have your heart all set on that $10,000 Terminator franchise, but just in case that doesn't work out for you, I suspect that more than a few folks would think that a Firefly continuation would be more than worthy of your time and attention.
Now, I know that Nathan is busy, but maybe he'd find a way to squeak it in somehow. Indeed, if it takes a couple years to get FTNG off the ground, who knows, maybe he'd be 100% available by then - you know how fickle these network folks are.
And I'm sure the rest of the cast and crew would be right there for you. Yeah, you have that sticky problem of how to bring Wash back to life, but you did it for Buffy, and Start Trek did it for Spock -- I'm sure with a couple years to work out the details you'll figure it out. After all, The Best Science Fiction Television Series since the original Star Trek deserves another run.
